This morning dunno why my laoshi suddenly say that if i were in china she sure ask me to go study in a conservatory etc.. haha i didnt know how to respond.. thought i actually felt a sigh from her as she said these.. But anyway this coming year shall be a year to remain low in profile i guess.. unless being called upon.. never boast or volunteer.. haha the advice given for rabbits...

today learnt about the importance of rests, which are much more important than those notes in the music.. haha heard of it before actually, just dont know how to apply.. now this 流浪者之歌 has lots of upbeats, rubatos and stuffs.. so it's a time to learn this skill
wonder if it's gd to play a piece with western feel for a chinese music exam.. haha
oh ya lesson was a long one today.. first time she wasnt home when i pressed the doorbell.. haha thought she had already flew back and i wasnt supposed to turn up for lesson.. but luckily i heard the sound of heels a few moment later... wow wear heels to crowded market to eat breakfast. Lucky the next student cancelled her lesson so we had a bit of time to chat.. i saw her younger photos and those newspaper articles.. wa looked so different.. and that sunshine on tashkurgan she played at i think 10 yr old.. so fantastic.. I must remember to remind her again to give me the yq score of the Yellow River Concerto.. she's the only one who has played it in S'pore.. haha my dream piece.. oops..! haha imagine this coming from an amateur's mouth!

watched he2 ni3 zai4 yi4 qi3 again today cos mum wants to watch.. i must say it's a really good movie for music students... coz i learnt a lot from there and i see parts of myself being portrayed in there.. the long journey since i embarked upon yrs ago... so i can connect to those 心酸 .. haha
