guess it was an enlightening discussion this morn... seems like not all mus players have had that 'aesthetic experience'.. initially thought maybe i was weird to hav that kinda indescribable feel, but to actually hear some even had more of these kinda feel is just... haha i m speechless

and finally it was agreed upon that ppl who hav been into mus for long time and hav certain depth in the way they perceive mus or whatever aesthetic things generally hav a higher lvl of sensitivity.. can just feel the really subtle things in life.. i think sometimes this is just such a bad thing... feel too much and sometimes just cant stop it... in the end........ haha ppl like that will know what are the consequences

haha this morning was a crazy one... imagine taking out all those soft toys for sunbathing..! coz store in cupboards for too long not very good also.. got smell and i think they need a breather

So long never attend yco practice.. so it felt really wonderful to be making music.. not notes, tempo and rhythm know...

it has been such a long time since i heard that kinda gaohu and dizi playing.. i cant get enough of it... really, different orch has diff cultures

Though this translates to more stress for sight-readers like me.. I'm feeling bleary-eyed now.. haha but luckily the scores still quite ok..

But he's rather old already.. heard his performance last year wasnt as powerful as the 80s recording... more emotional but fire wise.. hmm

haha nevertheless i just wanna see him live.. but i wont expect that much

his 3 points about the makings of a performer are quite true... so i've taken them to heart

Coz i want to be like L.L., he's just amazing.. 8 concertos in a concert.. heard it was sensational

and take into account he's only 25... goodness! He really has rich imagination, which i think is really important.. though his facial expressions are a bit too much i feel

Check out his Paraphrase of Don Juan and that accompaniment of 赛马 he played for his dad during his Carnegie Hall performance from the tube webbie.. haha!

off we go.. again

Went orchard with gang today.. haha seems like our fav makan place is still S.G... After spending like 3 hr plus there, i still dont feel any fullness.. and the food and soup kept getting burnt.. i think one of the reasons is that our 'chef' wasnt around today. It's really unhealthy, so didnt really eat much of these.... (dont look good right.. haha)

We saw a fantastic toy at taka when walking arnd... haha it's a grand piano toy where the keys can depress on its own according to the piece that it's playing.. i've checked.. the correct keys are depressed.. wow... if only the pedals can depress on its own too. The cost for this toy is enough to buy a decently good yq already.. haha $800+ lehz.. so exp.

One of our goals today was to find the wow L.C.R. at tangs... and ya we found it... haha it's really not like the usual C.R. that we often see.. this one still got atmosphere one.. somemore so spacious... for the rich tai tais.. not little kids like us

Anyway, it's essentially a place for the affluent.. where we can just stare wide-eyed and mouth agaped.. and take photos.. haha! imagine purchasing a jacket that cost $6000+?!

Oh ya we also checked out the L.C.R. at taka.. not as fantastic, but also not that typical.. haha this one can toggle lighting mode between night and day.. plus they have a phone in there for u to call for assistance.. but we were wondering.. call who for assistance?
